L4L: Heeled Sandals

Well, it's Friday, so that means I'm off to another destination.  This time I'm heading to Charleston for a bachelorette party!  The drive isn't bad and I have some great ladies in the car with me, so I think we'll survive. Roadies for everyone! (jk?)  It should be a great time.  Good food, great friends, grand drinks.

I've seen these sandals everywhere.  I'm not a huge fan of the style on my skis, but I think they look adorable on those with smaller (than me) feet.  A simple, comfortable style that dresses up an outfit a little more than a basic sandal.  The Sam Edelman's aren't a total bank breaker, but the Loft counterpart is currently 50% off with code WOW50, making them $45.  Can't really beat that!  I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

neutrals, or as I like to call it...leopard

If you know me, it's no secret that I wear leopard a lot.  Mostly in the form of shoes, but I don't discriminate.  The one thing I actually don't own though is a pair of leopard sandals.  Hard to believe, but it's true.  I've been looking for awhile, but I haven't been able to figure out exactly what I want yet.  Basic sandal?  Demi wedge?  Short heeled sandal?  Straps galore?  All leopard?  Leopard accents?  The questions go on people, but here is a compilation of what I like so far.  Enjoy, and help me decide!

Unhealthy Obsession: Pistachio

First of all, Happy Birthday to Laura and Susannah!  Greatest twins around.  Second of all, I barely  made it to Wednesday.  I have yet to recover from our celebrations this past weekend.  Me = worthless.  But recovery is a must, because I have an amazing wedding to attend this weekend back in Florida and I've been looking forward to it [You're going to be such a stunning bride Susan!]  Third of all, I can't stop my obsession with emerald [displayed yesterday] and pistachio.  Two shades of green I will never get sick of.  One is so rich and the other airy and more neutral.  With Spring around the corner though, this pistachio hue is everywhere.  Specifically at C. Wonder and I can't wait to pop in and try it all on.

I usually have to stay away from a lot of pastels because they tend to wash me out with my light hair and skin tone, but pistachio seems to be my friend.  Which is great because I prefer it over the lavenders, pale yellows, and baby pinks.  Not to mention, the color looks undeniably amazing with brighter colors, white, and tan.  The must haves for me below are those Sam Edelman heels and H&M dress.

look for less {RH-W}

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is amazing and her style is untouchably chic.  She's under my list of girl crushes and has been for awhile.

Her airport style is ridic.  She looks fashionable AND comfortable in all of her photos.  I don't care if she's dying inside from walking through the airport in heels, her game face doesn't expose an ounce of pain and I'm on board lady.  While my airport style is a lesser, more casual version of hers, she makes me believe that I could look just as amazing, but with no one to photograph me or care about who I was.  I'll take it.  Others will wonder.

Here is her look for less:

Cap Toes

 I'm not sure if I would label cap toe shoes, especially flats, a trend.  I'm not saying they're not insanely popular right now [as they should be], but rather that these are yet again a classic design that gets amped up in colors of the moment as opposed to being "brought back" or a "revival."  Cap toes will always be a sartorial staple to me, even though I will venture to say I may not own the ones that started it all anytime soon.  Nonetheless, I appreciate all the new and exciting variations to this ever lasting style.  I most recently purchased this version from Old Navy in a neon yellow color that apparently has since sold out.  There are enough variations for you to find something that works with your closet though.  Good luck hunting!

[I would like to take a second to say THANK YOU to my beautiful friends Lindsey from Teach Chic, Laura, and Tippi.  Because of your gracious birthday presents, I am now the proud owner of this shirt that I professed my love for yesterday, this absolutely adorable dress, and perfect top!!!]
