ASOS Summer Dress Roundup

Well, I'm on my way to the beach [Anna Maria Island] and can't wait to  relax with 13 girlfriends.  Sun, sand, and a beer in my hand...or two, or five.  Memorial weekend is here and that means no looking back at the weather.  Full steam ahead, I'm prepared to sweat through summer and totally enjoy it.

ASOS has always been my little hidden gem for cheap, trendy, cute clothing.  I've talked about them before, but for those of you that don't know, it's an online UK retailer that carries all sorts of clothing in all sorts of price ranges, but for the most part remains pretty reasonable.  Right now they are having a sale [20% off everything with code TAKE20].  Free shipping and free returns are the regular with them, so it's pure discounts and who doesn't love that?

I'm ready to get a couple staple summer dresses after swapping out my clothes the other night.  Below are some of my favorites from browsing the site.  Just an FYI, the prices aren't listed below, but all of these dresses are under $50.

neutrals, or as I like to call it...leopard

If you know me, it's no secret that I wear leopard a lot.  Mostly in the form of shoes, but I don't discriminate.  The one thing I actually don't own though is a pair of leopard sandals.  Hard to believe, but it's true.  I've been looking for awhile, but I haven't been able to figure out exactly what I want yet.  Basic sandal?  Demi wedge?  Short heeled sandal?  Straps galore?  All leopard?  Leopard accents?  The questions go on people, but here is a compilation of what I like so far.  Enjoy, and help me decide!

Inspiration as of Late

In my various "inventory checks" [you know, when I go to every online website and mentally {pinterest} make note of all the things I'm dying to own] I've noticed I've been obsessed with a few things: these majorly awesome, reflective Ray-Bans, bright printed scarves, this bright shade of green, and nude shoes.  Some of these I've already covered, but all of them together?  Sartorial jackpot my friends.

First of all, these Ray-Bans have been haunting me since I first laid eyes on them over a month ago.  I mean they're so insanely bad ass I just can't stop thinking about them.  I automatically think of SJP in SATC 2 and everyone loves Carrie Bradshaw.  The last thing I need is another pair of sunglasses, but I might just cave for these.  Second of all, scarves are awesome.  Bright, printed scarves and even better and I want to incorporate them into my Spring wardrobe stat.  I've gone on and on about how I'm loving these green shades and it hasn't stopped with emerald and pistachio.  This one gets me too and the one on the right would be a great base to accessorize.  Lastly, nude shoes.  Anything nude really, but in shoes it's the icing on top for me.  They lengthen your legs, they go with EVERYTHING, and they bring an outfit together.  I love all four of these below, but I'm currently dying to own these booties as a nice alternative for Spring.

Don't lie, if you saw me in this outfit you'd stop me, or at least assume my popularity has caused me to reach my limit of Facebook friends.
