It seems like ever since Isabel Marant introduced us to her Dicker bootie, and shortly after had it sell out in a miniscule amount of time, there have been numerous look-a-like's. If y'all remember...we saw the first of Miss Marant's twins here. I own the gray version and wear them to death, each time receiving welcomed compliments. Like all great exepensive things that are replicated and reproduced, just give them time because now I found another, but this go around includes bold colors. I give you the ASOS Aggie Suede Bootie. [I lurv the green, navy, and red versions]
Speaking of fashion influence, have you seen the latest "must-have" item from none other than Miss Marant? Meet her sneakers. That's right. I bet you never thought you'd be wearing such a thing as "designer sneakers," as in high tops, as in basketball player, as in something that feels so wrong, but you think is right after a couple shots, as in alcohol not basketball. Just don't reach down and try to pump them up because you think you're back on the b-ball court in your heyday, aka the 90s.
[truth gun: these things are starting to grow on me. I will never buy them, but there's actually a hidden wedge inside the sneaker to add height and comfot, which totally gets me]

StyleMint
SO, as I've posted before, the [blank]mint websites [i.e. stylemint, shoemint, jewelmint] are my favorite of the monthly charge genre. I have ordered numerous things from jewelmint, admired the shoemint inventory, but have never jumped on the stylemint shirts. People on the blogosphere have preached about their comfort and amazing quality, but I just couldn't decide on a basic t-shirt. The styles were just basic enough that I couldn't choose....until I saw a shirt that Taylor from Sterling Style was wearing and wanted it...bad. AND then I saw it was from stylemint. I was in love, add a 30% off coupon and I was sold. This is the shirt two ways: on the website and styled by Taylor. It made a world of a difference seeing it on someone. With that I am happy and anticipating the arrival of my pretty stripes [for only $20]. Coupon code is TAYLOR for 30% off your purchase until the end of February.

happy vd day...errr vday!
I decided to do my etsy feature friday early this week because I've found a couple things that celebrate one of the main men in my life: Ryan Gosling. So, therefore, I shall make this post a tribute to that hottie and rejoice in his good looks and adorable dog friend [and the fact that I refuse to believe he and Eva are actually dating]. The RG prints are from etsy shop Drunk Girl Designs.

Milly for Sperry Top-Sider
Another fashion collaboration, but since it's not with Target we may all have a chance to get some of the items! I absolutely adore the Milly line and think Michelle Smith is a genius for women's clothing. That being said, I grew up with Sperry boat shoes and have gone through too many pairs to name, so this collaboration makes me happy. The little feminine touches added to these comfy shoes gives them new life and are going to be great for Spring and Summer. To soon to think about it? Well, too bad because this winter seems to be unseasonably warm. No snowpocolypse this year, just beautiful days. I am now officially dreaming of owning a boat and sailing with people I like.

etsy feature friday [flashback]
If you've been reading my blog for awhile [aka the past year since it's only a year old] you know that I love me some old school game shows, especially Family Double Dare.
So when I saw the etsy shop B Fiber and Craft Emporium filled with items reminiscent of Double Dare, I had to share. And if you don't like Double Dare, but are a lover of large food inspired pieces that may make you and your guests giggle as they sit in the middle of a baked potato, then this is your cup o' tea as well. Personally, I'm all about the pizza sleeping bag [with custom toppings], but who am I decide what your food preferences are?

Outfit Inspiration
I saw one of my dear friends, Lauren Conrad, wearing this simple, feminine outfit the other week and I thought, "That is so perfect for a dinner date, and if I'm lucky, with friends and if I'm luckier, with a person of the opposite sex." So naturally, I wanted to recreate it and show you all...if for nothing else, to prove that I have the potential to clean up nicely...just in case it's you that asks me out to dinner.

Tillary
And I've found a new obsession, but this time it's long term [the obsession and how long the item will actually last]. I have a J. Crew handbag that I wear ALL. THE. TIME. Luckily, it's a soft cracked metallic "gilver" [gold + silver] leather that looks the same brand new, as it does after 3 years of wear [current state]. For not being a handbag company, this bag has lasted wayyyyyy longer than I ever expected and I've received more compliments on it than any other bag I own. I don't need a reason to buy another bag from J. Crew other than those!
The bag that started it all:
The new obsession, J. Crew's Tillary Tote:
Which reminds me of a certain Celine style I have always loved...
