Y'all know I love me some nail polish.  A search for the perfect aqua blue/green color [a slightly bluer mint green if you will] that I saw in a Nordstrom ad has been taking up the last couple of months of my life with no leads.  When this happens I break down.  I literally can't stand not being able to find something.  Every polish was too blue or too green and don't worry, I know I am being ridiculously picky about the shade, but it's only because I already have a mint green and blue that I love, but I want the damn color I saw!  Then I was just casually reading an issue of Garden & Gun [sidenote...amazing magazine] and saw what looked to be a possible match.  The color was from a new line of non-toxic polish called Scotch Naturals.  I still don't know if the color is perfect, but I fell in love with the richness of all the colors and now can't decide what 3 to order [get any 3 colors and a their top coat for $48.99].

Get it?  Joy Gryson's new handbag line is not i, i, i, but rather iii, as in tri....tribeca.  How original.  Not going to lie the only reason I wrote that all out is because I didn't bother to read into the name while looking at the line and therefore have been calling it i-beca, mostly out of laziness.  Whatevs.  I'm a fan of Joy Gryson's handbags, so I was even more excited to hear she launched a more affordable line.  The bags are classic and simple, lending their versatile hand to any outfit and to a number of charities since they donate 3% of net proceeds.

loft

I'm generally a fan of Ann Taylor Loft clothing.  With that said, there are always times when I can't find a single thing in the store to buy and walk out extremely angry at their design crew.  Luckily, their Fall line preview had me wanting everything and today they started releasing a good bit of the goods.  There's always more to come, but these are my favorites so far.  AND until August 17th, you can use code PSW25FP to receive an extra 25% full price merchandise.  Start shopping.

frugal friday {may books}

I am a huge fan of lists and organization.  More so the thought of it all, not necessarily the actual "on top of it" lifestyle.  I lived by my planner in high school and college, but now every week I write out my schedule on a post it note...pure class.  I tend to stick to the schedule, but often don't get everything done or ignore some to incorporate the spontaneous events that occur [i.e. all you can eat crab legs].  Then I saw May Books and fell in love with the idea of carrying a calendar/planner again.  I'll be honest...my life is nowhere near hectic enough to call for such a planner, but it's fun and I like to write stuff down to later cross it out.  These notebooks take the cake on looks, are planet-friendly, and can be monogrammed or printed however you like.  I'm sold, especially since they're 20% off with the code PEOPLESTYLE until August 17th.

I love a good statement necklace.  They do wonders for outfits and can dress up a t-shirt or LBD on the same level.  Lately, I've been really loving the mixed metal looks because they're insanely versatile.  So, when I saw this one by Lux Accessories I dropped it under my wanted list, especially since it's only $48.
