Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

That's right people...the big one is here (as of tomorrow)!  Y'all know I am a huge Nordstrom fan and extremely loyal, but their Anniversary Sale is always my favorite of any department store.  If you're unfamiliar, it is a good chunk of their fall inventory marked down and after the sale, the merchandise goes back up to full price.  I've been known to buy tons of stuff based solely on FOMO [fear of missing out].  With that being said, I was trying to be better this year and ended up buying just what I "needed."  BUT there are some gems in the sale, like the amazing Burberry trench with removable wool lining [hello year round coat] that my friend Jessica purchased.  Here are my picks [there are no links because the items are in a pre-sale website at the moment and the links won't work unless you have a Nordstrom card]:

I am the farthest thing from a fan of Michelle Trachtenberg.  Not sure if it's because I think she looks weird or if I just can't stand a single character she plays, but I am officially in love with the dress she wore last night to The Dark Knight Rises premiere.

I can't find who the heck makes this dress and it's DRIVING. ME. INSANE.

I am extremely cautious and insecure about spelling things wrong.  I wasn't always like this, but for some reason lately I spell check everything...like wall posts (which I rarely do) and copy and pasting what I've written into a word doc or email to take advantage of that little tool.  I know it's crazy, but it may be because I judge (in secrecy of course) people who post insane grammar mistakes such as "Your going to love my outfit."  It may seem silly since I know that I don't get it perfect every time, but at least I proof read my shiz.

WITH THAT BEING SAID...Owen Wilson is in town filming a movie and he visited one of my favorite pizza places, Antico.  He left a little note and the only thing I took away from it was that he has no idea when to use "than" as opposed to "then."  At least he got the comma right after Atlanta...I guess I shouldn't expect much from Hansel.

I hope y'all are all out celebrating like true Americans!  I'm currently walking a 10k for this great country and had there not been an extreme heat wave lately I would be wearing this!!!!!

So instead, I'll be wearing this, but I'm seriously considering purchasing the above for the Olympics.
